The Beeches Caravan Park

Nestled in a beautiful rural location between the Lake District and Solway Coast, The Beeches Caravan Park is situated in the historic Cumbrian village of Gilcrux, between Wigton and Workington. Open throughout the year, this park provides a scenic location for tourers exploring and holidaying in the area.

The site can accommodate touring caravans and motorhomes, with short-term and seasonal pitches also available. There are hot showers and toilets, a laundry room and children’s play area, with a post office, and the bar and bistro serving delicious food and drink, situated just adjacent to the site.

The remains of an ancient Viking longhouse is a short walk away and there are many scenic walks and cycling routes around the area. The coastal town of Maryport is 5 miles away, hosting a marina, aquarium and museums, and there is a golf course and various shops if you need to stock up.
