Thorpe Farm Caravan Park

Thorpe Farm Centre offers picturesque pitches for campers and caravans just a stones throw away from Barnard Castle. The campsite offers a wide range of brilliant facilities for the whole family, perfect for a memorable day out, short break or holiday in Co Durham. Our gorgeous campsite is a haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay, offering a stunning Wetland Nature Reserve which is home to a range of wetland wildlife. The site also offers guests the opportunity to stroll around out woodland walks situated to the east of the park. We have grass-standing pitches with electric hook up for caravans and non-electric grass pitches for both caravans and tents, plus fresh water points located around the site and a chemical disposal point adjacent to the amenity block. All the pitches offer plenty of space, ensuring lots of peace and relaxation.

While staying with us you can also make the most of our wonderful facilities, including a fantastic Farm Shop which is stocked with both essentials and treats to spoil the family whilst staying. You can also enjoy a touch of retail therapy at our beautiful Gift Hall, offering trinkets, keepsakes, gifts, home accessories and much more.

Tuck into a delicious breakfast or lunch at The Courtyard Café and Restaurant which is open 7 days a week. The restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu to suit all tastes and on Sunday you can look forward to a hearty Sunday Carvery.

At Thorpe Farm we also have an animal paddock with sheep and goats.
