Perfectly placed just a short stroll from the town centre of Okehampton, Meadowlea Guest House offers a warm friendly welcome and 4 Star awarded accommodation in our beautiful Victorian house.

Each of our 7 guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished to a high standard to ensure a wonderful stay and all include, TV, hair-dryers and tea/coffee making facilities and wifi. We have a quiet guest lounge where you can relax with a book or play board games. After a restful sleep you can enjoy our hearty Full English Breakfast made with quality ingredients sourced locally where possible. We also offer a choice of fruit juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast and locally made preserves. Vegetarians are also catered for.

Okehampton has a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. We are within walking distance of the Museum of Dartmoor Life, Okehampton Castle, Simmons Park and Parklands Leisure Centre. Cycle Route 27, The Dartmoor Way and The Tour de Manche pass our front door, and the Granite Way begins only 400 yards away. There is so much on offer in the area including Dartmoor Railway, home of the popular Polar Express train ride, Historic Okehampton Golf Club, Dartmoor and the Devon Coastline are all within easy reach, we also provide a convenient stopover for those of you en-route to Cornwall. There is parking available. We have secure storage for cycles and we have installed a heated drying cupboard for wet gear.
