West View

West View Cottage is a traditional stone cottage in the village of Arncliffe, the original setting of the television soap Emmerdale Farm, in Littondale, which is one of the Yorkshire Dales. Available for self-catering, the cottage sleeps 3 people and features exposed stone whitewashed walls, beamed ceilings and original stable doors.

There is a double and a single bedroom upstairs offering views across the Dales, and an open plan living area downstairs with open fire in the feature fireplace, sofa, armchair, TV, dining table and kitchenette. There is also a modern bathroom, central heating and Wifi throughout the cottage, and off-road parking at the front.

The welcoming village pub, The Falcon Inn, is a short walk away and serves local ales and a food menu. The area is very popular for outdoors activities and a favourite local pastime is fly fishing, with the River Skirfare’s clear water and abundance of brown trout.
