Prospect Farm Cottages

Prospect Farm Cottages are 4 charming self-catering holiday homes nestled on a working farm 4 miles outside the market town of Pickering. Situated on the fringe of the North York Moors and just a short drive from the coast, they are perfect for those looking for a scenic and relaxing break, with access to lots of outdoors activities and attractions.

All of the farm cottages have been sensitively converted from former barns, with characterful exposed beams and A-framed vaulted ceilings. Derwent and Sinnington both sleep 2 with a double bedroom in the gallery area and Saltersgate also sleeps 2 but has improved access for wheelchair users. Middleton is the newest of the cottages, sleeping 4 guests in a double and twin bedrooms, with an open plan living area downstairs.

The cottages have well-appointed kitchenettes, a shower room, TV and DVD player. There is a shared utility room with laundry facilities, a large garden and car parking. Guests can also bring their own horse, with our stabling facilities, secure tack room and 10 acres of secure paddock. The cottages are within easy travelling distance of Dalby Forest, the North Yorkshire coastline and the Vale of Pickering, and only a short drive away from York.
