Epchris House

Epchris House is found in a peaceful location in the Wilder Valley near Ilfracombe. The building dates back to 1831 and offers charming accommodation in stunning North Devon. Epchris has a guest lounge with honesty bar, a charming sun terrace, large gardens, an outdoor swimming pool for those warmer months, and plenty of guest car parking. We are happy to be a dog-friendly guest house.

Our twin, double and family bedrooms include TV, Wifi, hospitality tray, fridge, mini-bar, alarm clock, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. We are pleased to be able to offer a ground floor suite which has been adapted for those with access needs. Our newest suite, The Garden Room has its own separate access from the patio and is a large contemporary-styled room with its own balcony and luxurious bathroom. Breakfast is freshly cooked every morning using locally-sourced ingredients wherever possible. At Epchris, we are able to cater for differing dietary needs.

The bed and breakfast is a mere 5-10 minutes away from the town. Ilfracombe is a busy seaside resort with a harbour overlooked by the famous Damien Hurst statue Verity. It has a bustling centre full of interesting architecture and shops. The town is ideally located for superb beaches and lies on the world-famous South-West Coastal Path. There are many local attractions to enjoy such as Ilfracombe Aquarium, Tunnels Beaches, many local galleries, Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor.
