The Masons Arms

The Masons Arms is a charming thatched inn located in the village of Branscombe in East Devon, with the beach a 10-minute stroll away. Dating back to the 14th century with rustic beamed ceilings, exposed timber frames and whitewashed walls; we serve great food throughout the day, have a well-stocked bar with local ales and a selection of guest bedrooms.

All rooms have pleasant countryside views, en suite facilities, a television, Wifi and tea / coffee-making facilities. There are cosy, classic and superior rooms, plus a bedroom with improved accessibility and wet room for guests with disabilities. The Branscombe Room is a cottage suite with a 4-poster bed, seating area with leather furniture and spacious en suite bathroom. Some rooms allow dogs.

Breakfast includes cereals, yoghurt and toast followed by a Full English, Full Vegetarian, breakfast sandwich, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or traditional porridge with honey or banana. Food is served throughout the day, with classic dishes and a range of ‘specials’, with options for special diets and a children’s menu. There is free car parking next to the inn.
