Old Sea Captains House/ Tregonwell

The Captain’s House Bed and Breakfast is located on the banks of the East Lyn River in Lynmouth. A former Victorian sea captain’s residence built in 1882, today, guests experience excellent hospitality from owners Clifford and Josie. The Captain’s House Tea Rooms and Gardens are also open on-site.

All 9 guest bedrooms are individual, but have abundant style and charm. There are twin rooms and double rooms with their own en suite facilities, and budget rooms with use of a shared bathroom. All bedrooms have TV and a hospitality tray. The Captain’s Room and The Balcony Room are Superior Rooms.

Breakfast is served in the morning and packed lunches can be provided for the day ahead. Limited free parking is available, and the village car park and bus stop is just over the river. Walkers and cyclists are welcome and we can arrange luggage transfers and a pick-up service.
