Appledore Cottages

Appledore Cottages are 11 beautiful holiday properties which have all been sensitively refurbished from former fishermen’s residences in this pretty Devon fishing village. Our accommodation caters from 2 up to large groups and dogs are welcome in some of the cottages for a small additional charge. All cottages have a great deal of charm and character and are well-equipped, including welcome packs with details of all the local pubs / restaurants. Appledore is a great base for exploring North Devon. The quay is the heart of the village and especially popular for crabbing. The village has several pubs with live music most nights of the week. Most of the pubs serve food and fresh fish is always on the specials board! There are also local shops, tearooms and restaurants in the village. For larger supermarkets, visit Bideford and Barnstaple. Many people enjoy boat trips to Lundy Island, diving, fishing, surfing at Westward Ho! which is just 5 minutes from Appledore and, of course, walking the famous SW Coast Path.
