The Garden Lodge

The Garden Lodge is a beautiful self-catering holiday cottage in the pretty village of Youlgreave in the Peak District. A former artist’s studio overlooking Bradford Dale, it has been refurbished to offer a well-appointed holiday home for couples or lone travellers, nestled in the garden of owner Irene’s home. Walkers are welcome.

The interior has been decorated to give it a country cottage appearance. All on ground floor level, there is a lounge with comfortable seating, a television and dining table, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and shower room. Outside the cottage, there is a private patio and off-road car parking.

Situated between Bakewell and Matlock, Youlgreave makes a good base for exploring the area. The centre of the village is a short walk away, with local shops and 3 pubs which serve excellent food. There are many walks and cycleways that pass through the village, including The Limestone Way.
