The George Inn

Welcome to The George Inn, an 18th century village inn situated in the village of Tideswell in the heart of the Peak District National Park. With its comfortable guest rooms, traditional pub grub and fine hospitality, it provides a friendly place to stay for walkers, cyclists or travellers visiting the area.

Our guest accommodation includes double and triple bedrooms with a double and single bed. Each room has its own private bathroom / shower room, a TV, DVD player, access to free Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. A hearty breakfast is served in the morning to ensure a good start to the day.

Whilst at The George, sample a dish from the lunch or dinner menu and enjoy a drink from the bar. All food served is made from locally-produced ingredients wherever possible and we can accommodate special diets. There is ample on-site parking, and the inn can host private parties or business events if required.
