Town Head Farmhouse

Situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park near Matlock Bath, Townhead Farmhouse in the village of Bonsall is a welcoming bed and breakfast in an 18th century farmhouse offering charming guest rooms and delicious breakfasts. Ideally placed for short breaks, holidays, walkers and cyclists, there is ample car parking, secure bike storage and drying facilities available. Children and pets are welcome.

All 5 B & B rooms are individually decorated in a contemporary style, with beamed ceilings and stone walls adding to their character. There is a ground floor bedroom which can be arranged as a twin / king size room, which is suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, as well as twin and double rooms. Two rooms are pet-friendly. All are equipped with en suite facilities, LCD TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray.

Guests can relax in the shared lounge, kitchen or garden. In the morning, a full cooked Aga farmhouse breakfast is served, with home baked bread and homemade preserves. Lighter dishes and vegetarian options are available. Packed lunches can also be provided for the day ahead if required. Townhead has storage, washing and maintenance facilities for bikes and drying facilities for wet gear. Luggage transport is also available.
