Smithys Cottage is a 17th century property located in a quiet residential street just off the High Street in Buxton. A former Blacksmith’s, situated a very short walk from the town centre amenities, this cottage has been sensitively modernised to offer all the home comforts for 3 guests, whilst retaining many attractive, characterful original features.

Inside the cottage, there is a cosy lounge with an original cast iron open fire in the inglenook fireplace, a TV and DVD player, well-equipped kitchen with washing machine and dining table / chairs, double bedroom, single bedroom and bathroom. Wifi and central heating is available throughout the cottage.

Outside, there is an enclosed south-facing garden with a picnic table and off-road parking for 2 cars. The railway station is half a mile away. Smithys Cottage has a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for receiving excellent reviews from guests!
