Pend House and Precinct House are connected buildings in the centre of the town of Whithorn, whereas Faldarroch Farm is on the outskirts of Port William. All provide an excellent base from which to explore this area of SW Scotland.
The Pend is the 16th century former gatehouse to the monastery at Whithorn and sleeps 4 guests. There is a sitting / dining room with a wood burner in the inglenook fireplace, an equipped kitchen, elegant and spacious 4-poster room with wood burning stove, and a second bedroom with 2 single beds in the panelled recess.
Georgian Precinct House sleeps 3 and has sitting room with wood burner in the decorative fireplace, a kitchen, and a sunroom in-between with a glass ceiling and foldaway table. There is a double bedroom and a single room, plus a courtyard garden. Both properties have ground floor bathrooms, Wifi access, central heating and parking.
Faldarroch, dating from c. 1830 has a living room and open plan farm kitchen with sitting area including a working Victorian range and wood burning stove.
