Castle Hill in Lynton was built in 1891 and retains many original features. The property has been refurbished to a very high standard and offers spacious, light and comfortable guest accommodation. Car parking is 50 metres from the guest house. We offer double, twin and family rooms with Freesat TV, hospitality tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and complimentary bottled water and toiletries. Every room has beautiful views. Our luxury suites also have a spacious private lounge area. Breakfast is lovingly prepared using locally-sourced Devon produce. Lynton has a range of cafes, pubs, tearooms and shops or visit the Lyn and Exmoor Museum and the Town Hall. Lynton is closely located next to the pretty harbour village of Lynmouth, and these are connected by the Lynton and Lynmouth Railway. The Valley of Rocks lies half a mile from the town. Running through the town is the famous Tarka Trail. It is also a haven for walkers who frequent the famous South-West Coastal Path (which is only 50 metres from Castle Hill), the Two Moors Way, Samaritans Way and the Coleridge Way. Exmoor is wonderful open space with some of the best walking and cycling in England.
