A beautifully scenic and relaxing place for a holiday break, Nith Riverside Cottages offer superb self-catering accommodation along the river in the small market town of Sanquhar, within Scotland’s Dumfries and Galloway region. Popular as a base for sightseeing in the local area, plus a host of exhilarating outdoors activities, the cottages are a few metres from the Southern Upland Way and there is salmon fishing on a nearby river pool.

The 3 cottages have been thoughtfully converted from former barns and stables, providing stunning countryside views. Each has a lounge area with a TV and French doors to an individual garden area, plus an equipped kitchen, central heating, Wifi and off-road parking. Riverside Cottage sleeps 2, with a king size bedroom. Fishing Cottage and Riverside Cottage both sleep 4 guests in a flexible super king / twin bedded room, and a further twin room.

Nith Riverside Cottages are an ideal base for walking, cycling, bird watching, salmon or trout fishing, golfing on the local course or at world-famous Troon or Turnberry, canoeing on the River Nith (some of the best white-water in Scotland) or gold panning in the scenic Mennock Valley.
