Stables Guest House

A warm welcome awaits visitors to Stables Guest House in the town of Newton Stewart. Run by owners Fay and Dane; both keen mountain and road cyclists who are more than happy to advise visitors on local biking trails and walking routes, the area is also popular for sightseeing, stargazing in Galloway Forest Park and exploring the beautiful coastline.

All the bedrooms have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a TV, Wifi and a hospitality tray to make hot drinks. There are first floor double or twin bedrooms and ground floor doubles available. In the morning, guests can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast, full vegetarian, smoked salmon or porridge in the dining room or conservatory. Vegan and gluten-free diets can be accommodated with prior notice. There is also a residents’ lounge with plenty of books and maps for guests to read, as well as a lovely garden and ample car parking. Bike storage and a workshop is also available if required. Dane is a qualified bike mechanic if you need any help or advice!
