Alma Lodge is located in Milehouse in a quiet area of Plymouth, overlooking a golf course and just across the road from Plymouth Life Centre with its excellent swimming pool and park. The guest house is only fifteen minutes walk from the city centre. Renowned for our friendly and helpful approach, you will always receive a warm greeting from our staff, whom also have a wealth of excellent local knowledge to share with guests. There is free parking available. Our rooms are double and family en-suite. Freeview TV and DVD, Wifi, hospitality, alarm clock, ironing facilities are standard for guest comfort and our rooms are always immaculately presented. We offer a great range of choices for breakfast, including cereals and fruit or the Full English, which is freshly cooked-to-order.

We are within a short driving distance of many attractions, including ten minutes from Plymouth Hoe, the Barbican and the ferry port. Plymouth is known as Britains Ocean City, and is the regional capital for culture. It has the largest centre for shopping in the south-west, and is home to the world-famous Plymouth Gin Distillery. Plymouth Hoe provides stunning views across Plymouth Sound where you can see Smeatons Tower lighthouse and the Art Deco Tinside Lido pool. Admire the statue of local hero Sir Francis Drake and visit The Royal Citadel, the 17th century fortress. The National Marine Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the UK.
