McMurdoston House Self Catering Cottages

McMurdoston House is a 16th century former farmhouse offering self-catering and bed and breakfast accommodation in a scenic rural setting near Dumfries, with ample parking. All guests can enjoy fresh cake and refreshments on arrival and there are also drying facilities and secure bicycle storage. .

Swift Cottage and Swallow Cottage have been sensitively refurbished from the old farm granary building. Each sleeping 4 for self-catering, they have open plan living areas featuring fully-equipped kitchens, a dining table, sofa and TV/DVD player; as well as a double bedroom, twin room, modern bathroom, separate WC and a decking area outside.

The 2 B & B rooms in the main farmhouse feature central heating, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, a double or twin beds, plus use of the modern shared bathroom / shower room. Guests can also relax in the residents’ lounge and enjoy a complimentary cooked Scottish or continental breakfast in the morning
