45 Academy Street is a self-catering holiday home situated close to the town centre in Castle Douglas. Visit Scotland 3-Star rated, with a tasteful pink exterior and excellent facilities, the house is located in a quiet side street with the town shops, restaurants and cafes just a few minutes’ walk away.

Sleeping up to 7 guests and as welcoming for one person as it is for seven, there is a comfortable lounge with a tweed sofa, armchairs, electric fire, TV and DVD player. The dining room leads in to the well-equipped galley kitchen. The bedrooms include a double, spacious triple room with double and single bed and a bunk-bedded room, plus there is a family-sized bathroom.

The house has an enclosed courtyard garden and secure storage for bicycles or equipment. Free parking is available at the front of the house. There is a swimming pool and golf course in the town with plenty of walks, cycle routes and water sports available in the local area.
