West Barmoffity Farm offers farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation in the pretty village of Kirkpatrick Durham, 6 miles from Castle Douglas. Visit Scotland 4-Star rated, guests will find 170 acres of open fields and countryside surrounding this family-owned working farm. There is ample car parking and plenty of walks and cycling trails for those who enjoy the outdoors.

Choose from 2 guest bedrooms which are both equipped with en suite facilities, double / twin beds, a TV and refreshment tray. There is also a cosy lounge with a wood burning stove, sofas and TV and a beautiful garden where guests can relax and watch the wildlife. A West Barmoffity Farmhouse breakfast is served in the dining room in the morning. A 3-course evening meal can also be provided by arrangement.

Castle Douglas is an 18th century market and designated ‘Food Town’ where you can buy and eat lots of local produce. The town has many independent shops, a post office, filling station and several supermarkets / grocery stores. Beside Castle Douglas is Carlingwark Loch, popular for boating and lochside picnics. At the far end is the National Trust for Scotland's Threave Estate which is open to visitors all year.
