The Longhouse at Threave

The Longhouse at Threave is a contemporary, purpose-built holiday home offering luxurious self-catering accommodation in a picturesque village setting near Castle Douglas in Dumfries and Galloway. Sleeping up to 8 guests, the house includes a luxurious private hot tub and gardens in which to relax.

The open plan living area is bright and airy with a high ceiling and includes a log burning stove, leather sofas, Smart TV, dining table, large glass doors opening out onto the patio and a fully-fitted kitchen. There is a double en suite bedroom and room with bunk beds downstairs, plus a king size bedroom and twin room upstairs. The house also has 2 bathrooms, a laundry room and games room.

Outside, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on the patio or relax in the hot tub. There is ample car parking and an enclosed garden for children to play in. Threave has a castle and public gardens to visit and there are many shops, eateries and leisure facilities in Castle Douglas, the 'Food Town', known for its fine fresh local produce, its brewers, butchers and delicatessens.
