The King's Arms Hotel

The King’s Arms Hotel is a former coaching inn specialising in golfing holidays, located in the centre of Castle Douglas. Family-run, guests will find comfortable bedrooms with attractive décor, good food and fine hospitality from the Fulton family. Holidaymakers, golfers, hikers and bikers are all welcome, with dogs allowed too.

All rooms are well appointed and have en suite facilities. There are double, twin and family rooms to choose from, each equipped with Wifi, a television, radio alarm clock and a hospitality tray for making hot drinks. Some rooms have a seating area. In the morning, a hearty Scottish breakfast ensures a great start to the day.

Our restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, serving a fine selection of Scottish fayre. There is also a licensed lounge and outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar. Free parking is available at the hotel, and we can help with arranging golfing itineraries and tuition for all handicaps.
