Kirkennan Estate Holiday Cottages

Nestled on a beautiful country estate along the Urr Water Valley, just 6 miles outside of Castle Douglas, are the Kirkennan Estate Holiday Cottages, comprising 3 traditional cottages offering Visit Scotland 3-Star rated self-catering facilities. They have also been awarded a Green Tourism Gold Award for sustainability.

Each cottage is family and dog-friendly with Wifi, a fully-equipped kitchen, car parking, their own garden area, and stunning views of the surrounding Dumfries and Galloway countryside. All guests are welcome to explore the grounds and gardens, with facilities to have a barbeque and secure storage for bikes and equipment.

Woodsedge Cottage is wheelchair accessible, all on ground floor level; sleeping 5 guests in a double, a twin and a single bedroom. It is also equipped with a wet room, electric riser armchair in the lounge and adjustable bed. The Lodge can sleep 5 to 7 in a king size room, a twin room and 2 singles, with a pull-out bed also available. The Mews is a cosy cottage for 4, with a pull-out bed in the twin room and a main double bedroom.
