Glenhoul Brae Holiday Cottage

Glenhoul Brae Holiday Cottage is a modern purpose-built eco-friendly home situated on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park between Castle Douglas and Ayr. With uninterrupted views across Carsfad Loch and the Water of Ken, it provides the perfect self-catering escape for 8 to 10 guests.

The whole house is flooded with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. There are 2 lounges, a sun room, kitchen / diner that opens out onto the terrace, master king size bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring a double-ended bath that looks across to the river and woods; 2 double bedrooms, a twin room with 2 additional folding beds and a family bathroom.

Outside the holiday cottage, there is a large garden, off-road car parking, secure bike storage and bike wash. Dogs are also welcome at Glenhoul Brae. With many outdoor activities available in the local area from walking, cycling and kayaking to mountain biking, there are also golf courses and opportunities for stargazing in the Galloway Dark Sky Park.
