Douglas House

Douglas House Bed and Breakfast is set in a property dating back to the early 19th century in the historic town of Castle Douglas, close to the town centre and offering a relaxing and convenient place to stay for walkers, cyclists or people holidaying in the area. This B & B has a Visit Scotland 4-Star rating with Taste the Best award-winning breakfasts.

All 4 bedrooms are stylishly furnished, with their own en suite facilities, TV/DVD player, Wifi, hairdryer, radio alarm clock and beverage tray. There are 2 rooms with king size beds, a single room and a spacious ground floor room with wheelchair access that can be set up with king size or twin beds. Additional beds can be added for families.

Our award-winning breakfast is served in the morning, with the menu including choices such as a full cooked Scottish, smoked salmon or vegetarian breakfast. All dishes are made from fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. There is free parking available at the B & B and guests can make use of the lounge. We can also arrange flowers, chocolates or champagne to be waiting in your room on arrival for special occasions.
