The Waiting Room at Staward Station is a stunning Visit England 4-Star Gold rated holiday cabin situated in the village of Langley near Hexham. Carefully restored from a Victorian former railway station hut, it provides a luxurious self-catering holiday home for 2 guests. Pets are also welcome.
Built from timber, with a beautiful stone fireplace, The Waiting Room is all on one level, featuring a lounge with wood burning stove, leather suite and TV. There is a separate snug area, kitchen with a dining table, super king size bedroom and a vintage-style bathroom with slipper bathtub.
Outside, there is a lovely garden with seating. Car parking is available and buses to Hexham stop just outside. The area provides easy access for Hadrian's Wall and the Northumberland landscapes are perfect for outdoor activities, with everything from walking and cycling, to fishing and wildlife-watching.
