Houghton North Farm

Welcome to Houghton North Farm, offering hostel-style accommodation and a self-catering cottage in the village of Heddon-on-the-Wall. Perfectly placed for walkers and cyclists following the Hadrian’s Wall Path / Hadrian's Cycleway, as well as groups and expeditions, the farm has plenty of on-site facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

Our purpose-built hostel has a Visit England 4-Star Rating. Sleeping up to 22 guests, there are 3 rooms sleeping 4, a room for 2, an en suite room for 5 and a room for 3 with disabled facilities. All have bunk beds and there is access to a shared lounge, kitchen and dining room. There is also a drying room, laundry, Wifi, TV, bike storage, long term car parking and an outdoor area with a barbeque. Breakfast and packed lunches can be provided.

The 18th century-era self-catering cottage can accommodate 4 guests with 2 bedrooms including one with en suite. There is also a cosy lounge with sofa bed, kitchen / dining room, family bathroom and private garden. Available for weekly bookings, it provides a charming and well-equipped holiday home.
