Heddon Hideaway

Heddon Hideaway is self-contained room-only accommodation in the village of Heddon-on-the-Wall. Ideally placed, 5 minutes from the Hadrian’s Wall trail and close to the main Roman sites, as well as just 8 miles from the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, this is perfect accommodation for those visiting the area.

The room has 2 single beds, TV, comfortable seating and a beverage tray. Although we are not serving breakfast at the moment, there is a friendly cafe in the village that is open all day for freshly prepared food and drinks, plus 2 friendly pubs which serve meals in the evening.

There is off-road parking available, with a regular bus service to Newcastle and Carlisle from the centre of the village. The scenic North Pennines and Northumberland National Parks are a short drive away for outdoors pursuits. Owner John will ensure you receive a warm welcome on your arrival and can offer advice on things to do and see in the area.
