Golden Lion

The Golden Lion Padstow is a 14th century inn and the oldest pub in the town. Visitors will find excellent food, local ales and accommodation, including 3 guest rooms and a self-catering apartment called The Long Room Luxury Suite, catering for 2 people. We are situated at the top of Lanadwell street, about a minutes’ walk from the quay.

The 3 well-appointed guest rooms; 2 double and a twin / double, have en suite bathroom facilities, a flatscreen TV and tea and coffee-making equipment. A Full English breakfast is included. Guests staying in the self-catering Long Room will find a comfortable open plan living area with a sofa, armchair and fully-equipped kitchenette. There is also a double bedroom and en suite bathroom.

Our menu offers a selection of home cooked food which uses ingredients from the finest local suppliers. As well as our standard menu, there are daily specials with homemade soups, pies, fish dishes and much more. There is also a family room and a lounge bar. At the back of the pub is a patio area which can be covered. The Inn can offer storage for bicycles and there are plenty of car parks within walking distance.
