Cae Gwyn

Cae Gwyn is a family-owned bed and breakfast and self-catering caravan situated on the fringes of Snowdonia National Park, near Penrhyndeudraeth. Ideally located for visiting beaches along Cardigan Bay and accessing an abundance of hiking and biking trails, guests enjoy magnificent views across the Dwyryd Estuary towards Harlech Castle.

All rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, offering en suite showers, a TV / DVD player, free Wifi, hairdryer, beverage tray and scenic views. There are double rooms and a family room available, with off road parking facilities and secure lock-up for bicycles included. In the morning, a Full Welsh breakfast ensures a good start to the day. There is also a 6-berth caravan for guests who prefer self-catering accommodation.

Guests will discover plenty of opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling, fishing, golf, canoeing, bird watching and horse riding in and around the local area. The beautiful Italianate village of Portmeirion is 2 miles away. Also close to Cae Gwyn are the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, providing views of Snowdonia. The B & B is also within easy reach of many wonderful beaches including Borth y Gest, Black Rock Sands and Criccieth.
