Exeter houses one of the great cathedrals of England and reminders of the Roman past are all around. Exeter also has excellent shopping and a great nightlife! The Quayside area offers excellent walks with plenty to see and do including galleries, bars and eateries. The Royal Albert Memorial Museum is well worth a visit, as is the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum and the famous Underground Passages under the city. The spectacular Devon coastline is also but a mere 10 miles away!
