The Firecat Country House

The Firecat Country House is a charming 15th century stone property offering bed and breakfast accommodation near Mallwyd on the edge of Snowdonia. Visit Wales 4-Star rated, there are 3 bedrooms, plus a living room and dining room with open fireplaces and log burners. Families, walkers, cyclists and dogs are welcome.

The Firecat is an elegantly furnished bedroom with a beautiful 4-Poster bed, Persian rugs and en suite walk-in shower. The décor in Battle View takes inspiration from French style and fashion and this room is a double en suite with space for an additional bed. The Granary is a double / twin en suite hosting views to the Camlan Hills.

In the morning, a hearty farmhouse breakfast cooked on the Aga stove is served. Evening meals are also available by arrangement. The local area has many attractions, with walking routes for all abilities. Mountain bikers will find the Red Bull Hardline course a 5-minute drive away in Dinas Mawddwy, as well as the Aberangell Forestry mountain bike trails, which are a 5-minute drive in the opposite direction.
