Rusty Anchor Guest House

The Rusty Anchor is a Victorian guest house close to the beautiful harbour in Plymouth. This property has been carefully and tastefully modernised to offer immaculate contemporary accommodation. The Rusty Anchor is perfectly situated on Plymouth Hoe on the west seafront, just a short walk away from all the major attractions including the Hoe itself, Plymouth city centre, theatre, Pavilions, National Marine Aquarium, cinema and historic Barbican. All rooms are en-suite and come equipped with Freeview TV, Wifi, and tea and coffee-making facilities. We have cots available on request. Breakfast is a delicious Continental or Full English option, or we offer lighter meals if needed. We cater for special diets, and use locally-sourced produce and our own home-made preserves and jams. We are a dog-friendly guest house.

Plymouth is Britains Ocean City, and is a vibrant place, with the largest centre for shopping in the south-west outside of Bristol, and home to the world-famous Plymouth Gin Distillery. Plymouth Hoe provides stunning views across Plymouth Sound where you can see Smeatons Tower lighthouse and the Art Deco Tinside Lido pool. Admire the statue of local hero Sir Francis Drake and visit The Royal Citadel, the 17th century fortress. With so much to see and do you will be spoilt for choice!
