Red Lion Hotel

Y Llew Coch or The Red Lion is a charming inn with guest rooms in the small village of Dinas-Mawddwy. With a friendly bar, delicious home cooked Welsh cuisine and welcoming hospitality from mother and son team Beryl and Berwyn, everyone is assured of an enjoyable visit whether staying for 1 night or longer!

There are 6 bedrooms, including 4 with their own en suite facilities. Each bedroom is nicely presented and equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A delicious breakfast is served in the morning and guests can relax in the traditional bar with its large fireplace or sit outside and enjoy the views.

The restaurant is also open for lunch, evening meals and our popular Sunday lunch. We offer good food using fine locally-produced ingredients and our own signature pies. There is car parking available and we also welcome many cyclists and walkers looking for a restful stopover.
