Rhyd y Galen Caravan and Camping Park

Located in Eryri (Snowdonia National Park), c. 2 miles from Caernarfon and 15 minutes drive from Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is Rhyd y Galen Caravan and Camping Park, providing accommodation for tourers, tents, trailer tents and motorhomes in a peaceful, quiet location. We also have a cosy Shepherd’s Hut for 2 in a secluded part of the park.

Grass pitches are available as well as hard standing pitches for motorhomes. Most pitches are level, and there are a few level plots available near to the disabled toilet and shower facilities. We have 5 secluded tent pitches. The timber glamping hut has a double bed that converts into a sofa, table, chairs, wood burning stove, kettle, WC, electricity and running water. Showers are available in the shower block on-site.

Guests can use the games room, laundry facilities or enjoy the 22 acres of land that surround the park. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in Caernarfon plus a castle, golfing and many scenic walks. The National Watersports Centre is also close by.
