The Lion Inn

The Lion Inn is a 15th century former coaching inn made from attractive honey-coloured stone located in the heart of Winchcombe in the scenic Cotswolds. Multi-award-winning, including an AA 4-Star Silver and Rosette Award, guests are assured of a comfortable and memorable visit.

The 8 elegantly and individually-presented en suite bedrooms comprise The Classic, The Feature or The Indulgent. All have either twin, small double, double or king sized beds, with premium linen, eco-friendly toiletries, a telephone and refreshments tray. All of our rooms are dog-friendly.

Guests can relax in the restaurant, bar, cosy snug or out in the garden. The award-winning British dishes served at The Lion Inn are created using the very best of seasonal local produce. Sample menus are available to view online. Dogs are welcome in our snug, bar and garden.

Although there is no car park, the pub garden is conveniently adjacent to the public car park off Bull Lane. There are wonderful walks from the doorstep, with at least 6 long-distance trails passing through this ancient town, from the Cotswold Way to St Kenelm's Way.
