Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is a 17th century stone barn, sensitively converted to offer a contemporary self-catering holiday home in the pretty hamlet of Bournes Green, just 5 miles outside of Stroud. Featuring a private garden and swimming pool, the cottage is also close to the Wysis Way for walking enthusiasts.

The cosy lounge has exposed wooden beams, a wood burning stove in the original stone fireplace, 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player and dining table. There is also a light and airy conservatory looking across the gardens, well-equipped kitchen, utility room and downstairs family bathroom. The open wooden staircase from the lounge leads to the main bedroom with its double bed and there is also an adjoining twin bedroom.

The cottage has central heating and guests can enjoy the terraced garden and outdoor pool which is open during the summer months. Car parking is available, and dogs are allowed by arrangement. The cottage is just a mile from a village shop and good pubs. The location is ideal for exploring the southern Cotswolds on foot or by car including historic sites and sporting facilities such as horse riding and golf in nearby Minchinhampton.
