The Bear of Rodborough

The Bear of Rodborough is a 17th century former coaching inn nestled in 300 acres of National Trust land, just 2 miles south of the market town of Stroud. With an AA 3-Star rating and a Rosette Awarded Restaurant, it provides a welcoming haven for short breaks or holidays in this scenic area of Gloucestershire.

All of the guest bedrooms have been elegantly designed to incorporate the character of the original building. Located in the main building or adjacent country house, each room has been stylishly furnished with a choice of Good, Very Good and Excellent Rooms available. Some are dog-friendly.

The Library Restaurant is open throughout the day providing wonderful dishes from a varied seasonal menu. For more informal eating, The Bear Bar and Pavilion provides a variety of drinks and bar meals that can be enjoyed inside or in the garden. Weddings, special events and business conferences can also be accommodated.
