Cardynham House

Welcome to Cardynham House, a charming 15th/16th century guest house with a bistro, situated in the Cotswolds small town of Painswick. Originally built as a wool merchant’s residence, this sensitively modernised Grade II listed building made from honey-coloured Cotswold stone retains much of the original architectural features to provide a characterful place to stay.

All rooms offer unique style and character, including some 4-poster bedrooms. Each has en suite facilities, a TV, Wifi, telephone and hospitality tray. Two of the rooms have an extra single bed and there is also a room with 2 additional single beds. The staff team can also arrange flowers, champagne or chocolates to be waiting for you on arrival for special occasions.

Relax in the lounge in front of a roaring fire or in the conservatory overlooking the courtyard. After a sound night’s sleep, choose from options including a full English, porridge or American-style pancakes at breakfast. The bistro is also open for lunch and dinner, with all food served at Cardynham House prepared from fresh and locally-produced ingredients.
