The Anchor

The Anchor is a self-catering holiday home situated in the village of Lydbrook along the beautiful Wye Valley. A 15th century former pub with a garden, the property has been sensitively refurbished to offer a luxurious place to stay for up to 22 guests and features a private hot tub. Surrounded by open countryside, The Anchor is perfect for family reunions or group holidays. Pets are also welcome.

The interior offers beautiful original exposed stonework, with wooden beams and other quirky features. There are 3 lounges, a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, utility room and 7 en suite bedrooms including a ground floor room with a private bathroom, ideal for those with mobility difficulties. Guests will also find a games room and bar area.

Outside, the extensive gardens provide a secure place for children and dogs to play in, with a barbeque and picnic tables for al fresco dining. There is also ample car parking and a canoe launch nearby. The village has a convenience store with various places to eat within walking or driving distance.
