Dorset Escape

Dorset Escape holiday cottages and glamping cabin are located in a rural setting 11 miles north-west of Dorchester. Situated on the family-run Fern Down Farm, the accommodation is surrounded by open pastures where sheep graze, each offering peace and tranquillity throughout your holiday break. Dogs are welcome. The farm is only 8 miles from the coast.

The Barn has been sensitively converted from a 200-year-old slate barn and offers flexible accommodation for up to 10 guests. Suitable for guests with disabilities, there is a large open plan living area, twin room with a wet room on the ground floor, 2 double bedrooms in the mezzanine and 2 futon beds in the separate sitting room. Part of the barn can be shut off to make it comfortably sleep only 4 guests.

The Cottage is a beautiful stone property for 8 to 10 people, with a living room, kitchen, shower and utility room downstairs and 2 double bedrooms, a twin room, a room with bunk beds and family bathroom upstairs. There is a sofa bed in the lounge for additional guests if required. In addition, The Cabin is a timber glamping hut for up to 3 adults for those wanting a camping experience without the canvas!
