Lancombe Country Cottages and Lodges is a multi-award-winning holiday retreat in a rural setting 10 miles outside of Dorchester. Family-owned, with a variety of superb self-catering homes to choose from in the scenic Dorset countryside, this accommodation is Visit England Gold Award rated, with a TripAdvisor Hall of Fame Award for excellent guest reviews year after year. Dogs are welcome.

Guests can choose to stay in our traditional flint and brick cottages nestled around the courtyard on the estate. The cottages sleep from 2 up to 6 guests. Modernised to offer a host of contemporary facilities including Wifi, whilst retaining original features, they all have a private patio looking across to woodland. The 3 purpose-built timber lodges can sleep 2, 4 or 6 guests. Each has a decking area at the front and 2 have their own hot tub.

Our facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, games room and launderette. Spa treatments can also be arranged. Situated in a hamlet in between the villages of Cattistock and Maiden Newton, Lancombe Country Cottages is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, also known as ‘Thomas Hardy Country’, only a short drive from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
