The Fishermans Haunt

The Fishermans Haunt is a 17th century village inn located in Winkton, 2.6 miles outside of Christchurch. Our hotel is adjacent to the River Avon and great for visiting the New Forest and Dorset coast. Bournemouth Airport is less than 3 miles away and we offer a park and fly service.

All bedrooms are well-appointed, with en suite facilities, a TV, telephone, Wifi, desk, iron and hospitality tray. There are double, large double and 4 dog-friendly rooms. Breakfast options include a Full English, Vegan Full English, Eggs Royale, Benedict or Florentine, avocado on sourdough toast, poached eggs, porridge and more.

The menus here change with the season, but there is always a firm focus on fish dishes, alongside country classics, chef’s signature dishes and a range of homemade desserts. There is also a children’s menu and a full range of special diets are accommodated. Our bar offers a wide range of drinks, including cask conditioned ales.
