Ilchester Arms

Welcome to The Ilchester Arms Hotel, a friendly village inn situated in the centre of Abbotsbury village, just a mile from the Dorset coast. With a traditional pub, good food and comfortable guest rooms, the inn provides a restful haven for all travellers, including walkers and cyclists. Dogs on leads are welcome and we have pet-friendly rooms.

There are 9 well-appointed guest rooms all named after local flora and equipped with en suite facilities, a TV, Wifi and refreshment tray. There are double, family rooms and a beautiful 4-poster suite with a seating area and en suite bathroom with twin sinks. Guests can also sit out on the terrace or in the lounge and enjoy a drink from the bar.

The conservatory restaurant offers a range of tasty meals throughout the day, using fresh, local produce. Our butchers, fish, vegetable and cheese suppliers are local companies hand-picked for their quality. Choose from bar snacks, hearty favourites and fine a la carte choices. We can even make a cake for a special occasion.
