Lake District Estates

Lake District Estates is a family-owned holiday company based in Kendal offering a variety of accommodation in and around the Lake District National Park. We have a wide selection of self-catering cottages, marina apartments, glamping pods, safari tents, self-catering caravan and lodge accommodation. For touring holidays, some of the caravan parks have serviced touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes.

There are 7 parks situated in various locations including Tewitfield Marina in Carnforth on the Cumbrian and Lancashire border, which offers riverside apartments. Hill of Oaks is along the banks of Lake Windermere with a choice of country cottages, luxury caravans or glamping pods. Waterfoot Caravan Park overlooking Ullswater has a caravan park and glamping. All parks are dog-friendly and have an excellent range of additional facilities, dependant on the site, including private jetties, boat launching, electric and mountain bike hire, outdoor cooking areas and private moorings. All parks have direct access or are located within easy reach of walking and cycling routes, boat trips, watersports, local pubs, tearooms and restaurants, public transport links and visitor attractions.
