Lancrigg Vegetarian Country House Hotel

Lancrigg Country House Hotel is nestled in an idyllic spot just outside Grasmere in the wonderous Lake District. A favourite place to stay for the poet William Wordsworth in the 1800s, today, guests can enjoy boutique-style guest rooms, excellent food and our 30 acres of grounds. Weddings and special events are welcome.

The 10 bedrooms are named after famous people associated with the history of the area. Each offers en suite facilities, a king size bed, Wifi, TV and beverage tray. Whittington is ideal for families, sleeping up to 3, with additional space for extra beds. There are also 4-poster rooms, ground floor rooms and some that allow dogs.

Delicious food is served all day in the dining room, in Poet’s Café Bar or out on the terrace. Packed lunches can also be provided for the day ahead. There is on-site car parking and space for bicycles. Guests are welcome to explore the extensive hotel gardens or walk the trail to Easedale Tarn and Helm Crag.
