The Morningside Hotel

The Morningside is a welcoming and friendly hotel in a simply stunning location, on the clifftop promenade of Babbacombe with panoramic views overlooking Lyme Bay. The hotel is a 5-minute stroll to the town of St Marychurch and a short drive from Torquay. Oddicombe Beach is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The Morningside offers off-street parking and a licenced bar, comfortable guest lounge, tea gardens and The Orangery, our conservatory restaurant. Our hotel is the ideal choice for your romantic getaway, mini-break or fun-filled family holiday. We are also experienced in providing a perfect venue for functions such as family parties or weddings.

The hotel boasts 15 en-suite guest rooms, many of which have beautiful sea views. Rooms are light, airy and comfortable and come equipped with a TV, alarm clock radio and a well-stocked hospitality tray. Breakfast includes a range of Continental options and a hearty and delicious Full English. During the summer months, the hotel hosts a Tea Garden offering a wide range of light meals and sweets.
