Kings Arms

The Kings Arms is a friendly Cumbrian village inn situated in picturesque Bowness-on-Solway. Situated along the banks of Solway Firth at the western end of the Hadrian’s Wall Walk, travellers, cyclists and walkers are welcome. As well as a wide range of drinks, we serve great food and have comfortable B & B rooms.

The inn’s guest rooms are well-appointed, with a choice of single, double, twin or family rooms available. We can also accommodate up to 17 guests for group stays. A hearty cooked full English breakfast is included and will ensure a good start to your day!

The restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes, with classic British meals, pizzas and ‘specials’. We also offer vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options. A takeaway service is also available and the menu can be viewed online. The Kings Arms also offers a range of real ales.
