The House at Hawes is a 5-Star award-winning boutique B&B for adults only, in a wonderful location, only a few minutes’ walk to the centre of Hawes, a market town at the head of Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Built around 1890 as a grand former gentleman’s residence, the house was built from Stags Fell stone and is run by owners Fiona and Tim who offer a warm guest welcome and excellent hospitality.

This B & B celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of the Yorkshire Dales, with Tim’s photographs adorning the walls, as well as bespoke pieces created by Yorkshire artists. There are 5 individually-named bedrooms; The Parlour, The Library, The Music Room, The Snug and The Bothy. All have elegant, thoughtful décor as well as plush en suite facilities with a walk-in shower. Exclusive use of the B & B may be available.

All our first floor rooms have lovely aspects. Rear-facing rooms have views over Wether Fell, and to the front, over the road to Stags Fell towards Buttertubs Pass. After a sound night’s sleep, guests can enjoy a tasty breakfast to start the day, including our wide-ranging traditional breakfast range or one of our seasonal specials. There is ample parking at The House at Hawes. Please note that dogs cannot be accommodated.
